Development planning in Zermatt

The town of Zermatt is currently in the process of revising its development plan. The town’s zoning concept from 2013 establishes open-space and consolidation measures as development priorities. Working together with the planning firm Planax AG and the landscape-architecture firm extrā Landschaftsarchitekten AG, we drafted a plan that will help to advance Zermatt’s high-quality development in terms of settlement spaces (building zones, townscape, quality), green and open spaces, and access to the existing transportation network.
