Assessing quality assurance with floating car data

One essential benefit of new transport infrastructures is savings in travel time. For the Canton of Lucerne we compared travel times in the transportation model to travel times based on floating car data supplied by our partner HERE Technologies. Based on this, we calibrated the transportation model and determined correction factors. This allows us to ensure that our infrastructure-project assessments reflect reliable travel time and congestion level data.
